Paul Revere Day

150 Students from Paul Revere Science Magnet came to UCLA Physics and Astronomy for a day of activities on March 26, 2008

The class started by breaking into groups, racing up Janss steps, measuring time, height, and weight to calculate how much power a human could deliver.

Then figuring out the worksheets to get answers

Later we did a minilab to measure the speed of light.

Other activities were planetarium shows, a talk from Professor Cowley about the energy crisis and fusion energy, and a physics demonstration show.
